I have worked in the mental health field for ten years and am passionate about providing safe and therapeutic spaces via one-on-one work. I hold a MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a BS in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from the University of Maryland, College Park.

I found my calling of working with women while providing outpatient therapeutic services. I have experience working in both broad and narrow populations from toddlers to aging adults. Currently, I also work with the Womb Room in Baltimore, MD to provide one-on-one perinatal focused therapy.

I believe in the power of therapy to heal generational trauma and practice restorative justice.

About Emily

A young woman with long dark brown hair and round glasses, wearing a beige or light-colored top and a brown sweater, smiling at the camera against a plain light-colored wall.

Who are you as a person?

In my free time, I practice yoga and love to hike! I’m married and my husband and I are kept busy with our three cats. Creativity in all manners is important to me, and I’m an avid stationery lover and fiber artist from knitting, crocheting, and spinning. If I’m not reading or knitting, you can find me indulging in all things nerdy from Dungeons and Dragons to video games and board games!
