“If you grew up with an emotionally immature, unavailable, or selfish parent, you may have lingering feelings of anger, loneliness, betrayal, or abandonment. You may recall your childhood as a time when your emotional needs were not met, when your feelings were dismissed, or when you took on adult levels of responsibility in an effort to compensate for your parent’s behavior. These wounds can be healed, and you can move forward in your life.” -Lindsay Gibson

If you feel like the black sheep in your family and no one else “gets it” this group is for you!

Based on the book Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay Gibson, this support group meets on the third Saturday of each month. This group has a special focus on children of immigrants or culturally diverse backgrounds, but it is not a requirement for participation.

This is an open group (you can join at any time), but all potential members need to attend an intake session. This is to ensure you are a good fit for the group, review the group rules and expectations, and discuss payment options. Insurance is accepted for both the intake and group sessions. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Out of pocket intake cost: $75
Out of pocket group cost per session: $40
